Dimple is famous for not only its unique bottle shape, but also for its long standing reputation for producing one of the finest blended malts. Using malts predominantly from Glenkinchie and Linkwood, Dimple 15 Year Old is a beautifully well-rounded Scotch with surprising depth.
Tasting notes;
Appearance/colour; Rich amber.
Nose; Toffee and Spice with a slight citrus edge. A little water can help to open the nose further.
Palate; Surprisingly rough at first but quickly settling to a warm slightly smokey taste at the back of the mouth with an underlying caramel sweetness.
Finish: A fairly short finish of toasted fudge or caramel with a hint of oak in the background.
Distillery History:
Dimple Blended Scotch Whisky, consisting of over thirty Malt and Grain Whiskies, is produced by Haig, Scotland's oldest surviving Scotch Whisky distiller.
Heritage:
Dimple Whisky was created by John Haig & Co. in 1893. Since then, Dimple follows the same traditions established by its founders.

Dimple’s house was awarded four Royal Warrants, gold medals and decorations for distilling and blending Scotch Whiskies of exceptional quality. It was also appointed purveyor to the House of Lords and the Kings of Spain and Denmark.
