Distillery history;

Distillerie de Labourdonnais is set in a beautiful estate amidst orchards and sugar cane fields in the north of Mauritius. This little pearl in the Indian Ocean has a rich rum-making tradition.
A lot of industrial rum is being produced in Mauritius, but three traditional craft distilleries continue the French tradition producing distinctive and refined rums from pure sugarcane juice.
